What does Microneedling help with?

How long does the treatment take?
Depending on the area it can take from 30-60 minutes.
How quick does it start to work?
Benefits can be seen after just one treatment. For maximum results, it is recommended that you schedule 3-5 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart. In cases where more aggressive treatment schedule is needed such as acne scar revision, a greater number of treatments may be necessary for maximum benefit.
Does Microneedling hurt?
Depending on the area being treated and the aggressiveness of the treatment, there can be some slight discomfort during the procedure. A topical numbing cream can be placed on the treatment area 5-10 minutes prior to the procedure to help with any discomfort.
What else can I expect during and immediately after the procedure?
Redness of the skin can appear, as well as pinpoint bleeding. The severity of the redness will depend on the aggressiveness of the treatment and individual skin type. You will be provided a calming ointment immediately after the treatment.
